1st digital day at ISC Paris

On 14 October, the Action Learning Lab at ISC Paris organised its first Digital Day. A day to raise students’ awareness of the impact of digital technology and artificial intelligence on their daily lives. Several workshops were offered to the school’s different classes throughout the day.

Students at the heart of the day’s workshops and activities

Digital Escape Game

This workshop gave students a hands-on opportunity to tackle the challenges of cybersecurity. By solving puzzles, they were able to acquire practical skills and an in-depth understanding of online security issues.

Life with or without AI

Participants were invited to imagine and analyse two extreme scenarios: a daily life entirely dependent on AI and another devoid of digital technology. This forward-looking reflection encouraged the development of critical thinking and adaptability, essential skills in today’s professional world.

AI or Human’ writing workshop

This creative exercise not only stimulated the students’ creativity, but also challenged them to think about the ethical implications of using AI. Trying to fool the audience about their working methods, they had to be both strategic and critical.

“Bluff or reality” for the Student Companies

In this workshop, students had to design projects with or without AI, then present them convincingly. This activity strengthened their communication, strategy and decision-making skills, while confronting them with the realities of the professional world.

Digital Day was designed to give students a better understanding of the challenges of digital technology and artificial intelligence, while stimulating their critical thinking in the face of these constantly evolving technologies. The diversity of the workshops on offer was designed to give them a full say in the process, by giving them the opportunity to experiment with different scenarios, to debate and to create. The participants said they appreciated these activities, which led them to imagine a balanced and ethical digital future’. Explains Bastien Wagner, Director of the Action Learning Lab.

Digital Day demonstrates the school’s commitment to training professionals capable of navigating a constantly changing world. By confronting students with real-life situations and encouraging them to think critically about the implications of digital technology, ISC Paris is effectively preparing its students for the challenges of the future.

See you next year for the 2nd edition!
