Covid-19 procedures: fall 2020 update

To comply with current directives from MESRI (the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation), the ISC Paris Group has created a set of policies for students and staff. This ensures that we can provide the best possible educational experience while keeping everyone safe.

Alternating in-person and online classes

To de-densify our campus, all ISC Paris Group programs will alternate weeks between in-person and online classes.

Health protocol for students and staff

In addition to our alternating in-person/online schedule, we will have designated “traffic paths” on campus, to minimize group gatherings and avoid close contact between individuals.

Students and staff are required to wear masks at all times while on campus, including while walking in buildings. Masks for staff will be provided.

During in-person class weeks, air will be fully recirculated in spaces such as classrooms, the library, and offices (using the ventilation system or by opening the windows) at least twice a day to comply with health regulations.

The library is open for research projects, by appointment only. It will be closed to students from 12 noon until 2:00 PM for air circulation.

Covid-19 awareness on campus

The ISC Paris Group has created COVID-19 education and awareness materials for students and staff. These will remind everyone to help prevent COVID-19 through social distancing and frequent hand washing. These materials also indicate what to do if you suspect that you may have COVID-19: for example if you are showing symptoms of the virus or if you come into contact with someone who is infected.

Finally, the ISC Paris Group has named a COVID-19 coordinator to answer your questions and to ensure that all health precautions are enforced and followed.
